The SmartPrevent consortium is pleased to announce the Final Seminar of project that will take place in Las Rozas de Madrid (Spain) on the 26th of April 2016.

Our sister project SmartPrevent will celebrate its final project dissemination event next April 26th.
We will attend the event and we will make a short presentation of the P-REACT project results.

The SmartPrevent consortium is pleased to announce the Final Seminar of project that will take place in Las Rozas de Madrid (Spain) on the 26th of April 2016.

The final SmartPrevent Seminar aims to release the objectives achieved by the consortium and promote new technologies and methodologies to enhance current video surveillance system to prevent and detect frequent petty crimes in urban zones.

The Seminar will present several sessions focused on Ethical & Legal issues, EU Projects on Security, a workshop with the final results of pilot implementation and final conference about the video-surveillance in the urban areas of Spain.

Participation to the Seminar is free, with a limited number of seats available. Programme shall be made available in SmarPrevent website. (Please register by sending an email to Sergio García: sergio(dot)garcia(dot)alvarez(at)treelogic(dot)com

The target groups of the Seminar is constituted by the stakeholders in urban areas security:

  • Law Enforcements Authorities: who is in general in charge of public areas surveillance to prevent and detect petty crimes and mitigate their impact.
  • Academic, Research Centre and private companies with research interest in Security and Computer Vision
  • Experts in the ethics, legal and privacy issues
  • Policy makers
