Vicomtech-IK4 is an applied research centre for Interactive Computer Graphics and Multimedia located in the Technology Park of San Sebastian (Spain). It is a non-profit association, founded in 2001 as a joint venture by the INI-GraphicsNet Foundation and the EiTB Broadcasting Group. It is currently formed by 15 members. Among its 100 employees, more than 80 are researchers dedicated to the field of applied research. The role of Vicomtech in the market is to supply society with technology by transfer of primary research to industry. This is done through collaborative R&D projects. Vicomtech’s main research lines lay in the fields of multimedia, computer graphics and interaction; technologies which Vicomtech applies in multiple sectors.

The Information Technologies Institute (ITI) was founded in 1998 as a non-profit organisation under the auspices of the General Secretariat for Research and Technology of Greece (GSRT). The head office is located in Thessaloniki, Greece. Since 10.3.2000 it is a founding member of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) also supervised by GSRT. The centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) is the first Greek research institution recognised by the European Union that respects the Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. CERTH-ITI is one of the leading Institutions of Greece in the fields of Informatics, Telematics and Telecommunications, with long experience in numerous EU and national R&D projects. It is active in a large number of research domains such as Security and Surveillance, Image and Signal Processing, Computer & Cognitive Vision, Human Computer Interaction, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Multimedia, Database and Information Systems and Social Media Analysis.


CENTER FOR SECURITY STUDIES KEMEA, Greece
The centre for Security Studies (KEMEA) has been established as the Greek Ministry of Public Order and Citizen Protection think tank on security policies. KEMEA is a scientific, consulting and research agency, whose purpose is to conduct theoretical and applied research and to produce studies, particularly at a strategic level, on issues concerning security policies. KEMEA also provides advisory and consulting services to the Ministry of Public Order and Citizen Protection and other Public and Private authorities on these same issues. KEMEA in order to accomplice its objectives, can utilise (on ad hoc basis), specialised personnel and assets from the Ministry. It has also represented the Greek Government to the European Research and Innovation Forum (ESRIF) of the European Commission and is a Member to the Board of Directors of the European Organisation for Security (EOS).


SRM – SOCIETA RETI E MOBILITA SRL SRM, Italy
SRM is the local Authority for Public Transport in Bologna area. It was established in 2003 through an agreement between the Municipality and the County of Bologna through the division of the public transport company of Bologna, ATC SpA, by contribution of all the networks, infrastructures and plants (real estate). SRM, whose capital is entirely public, was founded in the context of the reform of the local transport. As the Agency performs the control activities for the local public transport service and manages the financial resources, it can be identified as the local Authority for Public Transport.SRM has been established in order to perform the following activities: promotion of initiatives focused on increasing diffusion and valorisation of local public transport, management of the infrastructures serving the local public transport service, planning, organisation and promotion of integrated public transport service and private mobility.
