Vicomtech-IK4 is an applied research centre for Interactive Computer Graphics and Multimedia located in the Technology Park of San Sebastian (Spain). It is a non-profit association, founded in 2001 as a joint venture by the INI-GraphicsNet Foundation and the EiTB Broadcasting Group. It is currently formed by 15 members. Among its 100 employees, more than 80 are researchers dedicated to the field of applied research. The role of Vicomtech in the market is to supply society with technology by transfer of primary research to industry. This is done through collaborative R&D projects. The centre for Security Studies (KEMEA) has been established as the Greek Ministry of Public Order and Citizen Protection think tank on security policies. SRM is the local Authority for Public Transport in Bologna area. It was established in 2003 through an agreement between the Municipality and the County of Bologna through the division of the public transport company of Bologna, ATC SpA, by contribution of all the networks, infrastructures and plants (real estate). SRM, whose capital is entirely public, was founded in the context of the reform of the local transport.
