The Information Technologies Institute (ITI) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) organised a whole week project meeting in Thérmi-Thessaloniki (Greece) for the European research project P-REACT, partially funded by the European Commision under the FP7 program. The meeting was held between September 28th and October 2nd, 2015.
Two meetings took place during the week:
- Between September 28th and September 30th a face-2-face technical workshop took place. The goal of this workshop was to boost the completion of the individual components whilst, at the same time, running end-to-end functional testing of the overall solution. With the use case scenarios that are being targeted for the project trials that will take place in the first quarter of 2016 in mind, the technical group worked hard for three days making very good progress.
- Between October 1st and October 2nd the project plenary meeting took place. Several sessions focused on different aspects (e.g., exploitation, dissemination, integration, trials preparation) helped the team evaluate the previous months and planning in details the following 3 months iteration cycle.
As it has been the case with all previous meetings, the team worked very well together, with very good communication and collaboration among all partners. There are still many things to do before the project ends but the meeting was a success and the team is confident that during the following six months of the project all the hard work that has been done until now will pay off.
